Listing Description This listing is for a Gilson Pipetman Ultra, Yellow Battery Block and Contact Plate. This is a spare part intended for the repair of an individual Gilson Pipetman Ultra, any volume or format. Each package will include one yellow battery holder and one contact plate which can be placed between batteries to increase battery health. The holder is suitable for use with two Energizer button batteries, size 391 These are loose factory parts that have been inspected and found to be in new condition. They have been identified and repackaged for purposes of repairing an individual pipette for calibration to factory specification. It is expected that those purchasing these parts are familiar with pipette repair and assume responsibility for the final performance of the instrument they are installed on. In addition, please keep in mind that the Pipetman Ultra is a greased seal system and all o-rings should lubricated prior to installation. I recommend a fluoro-silicone based grease to prevent degradation of the o-ring. Dow-Corning Molycote 111 Light tends to work well for these applications, though most manufacturer recommended greases should also be suitable.
