Elk Wood Products is proud to present a offer for this HIGH QUALITY Handcrafted Country Red > Carriage Black Custom Cafe Sidewalk Chalkboard / Easel. It has a chalkboard on both sides! The frame was painted with our Olde Century Colors Simulated Milk Paint. It was the distressed and sealed with our Antiquing Liquid which seals and protects the piece while giving it a beautiful patina! This piece would be great for restaurants, pubs, retail shops, etc., or use at home for the kids! We handcrafted it here in our shop in Springfield, Ohio! We have been making various chalkboards for over 10 years now! Thousands have been sold! We take the time to make sure all of the details of each piece is perfect! This is a fixed price listing! No waiting or bidding! FEATURES: The frame is made with a high quality wood called Poplar! It is superior to the pine frames often found elsewhere! We use pocket screw joinery on the frame construction to ensure durability. The piece folds up for easy storage when not in use. A piano hinge securely holds the 2 frames together at the top. Antiqued chains held on by antiqued eye screws are installed at the middle of the frames to hold it all together. The bottom of the legs are rounded so it can be stabilized on un-even surfaces. We make the chalkboard surface here in our shop! It is a very durable high quality smooth surface. The chalkboard is much more than just chalkboard paint on plywood. Sorry due to competitors wanting to replicate our work we can not tell you how the chalkboard surface is manufactured. It is NOT magnetic. SIZE: The standard size of the frame is 45" tall x 22" wide. When opened it stands about 42" tall. The actual chalkboard surface is 18" wide by 32" tall. FINISH: Each frame is handpainted using the high quality Olde Century Colors Simulated Milk Paints. Each piece is first painted, then distressed in the right places. The frame is then treated with a topcoat of the Olde Century Colors Antiquing Liquid which both seals and protects the piece while giving it a beautiful patina! On non- distressed pieces we will seal it with the clear gel varnish instead of the antiquing liquid. The UPS shipping charge can be calculated at the bottom of the listing.
