Thanks to its built-in temperature sensor, conductivity readings are automatically compensated for temperature changes, and no probe changes are required when switching between pH, conductivity, and TDS measurements. The BEPS system alerts the user in the event of low battery power that could affect readings, and battery percentage is displayed on startup. This makes it suitable for use in harsh environments such as fertilizer solutions. The HI 1285-5 pH/EC/TDS and temperature probe has a specially engineered fiber junction and gel electrolyte that provide a fast response and reduced contamination. The meter also has automatic temperature compensation for pH and conductivity and a simple calibration process with dials located on the front panel. The HANNA HI 9811-5 is a portable, water-resistant meter that measures pH, EC, TDS, and temperature with a low range for EC and TDS. It features on-screen tutorials for calibration and the ability to switch parameters at the touch of a button. The HI 9811-5 comes with a fast-response probe and is ideal for hydroponics, greenhouse, farming, and ground water applications. This results in fewer instruments needed for daily water quality analysis.
