For Sale: New Takeoff Harbor Freight Predator 212 Connecting Rod with Stress risers removed and polished. Use to quickly freshen an engine that needs to be serviced. Rod was removed from a brand new engine. Engine was never ran outside of factory. Rod has rough casting removed from outside of beams (see pics) to reduce stress risers that propagate cracks in material that cause connecting rod failure. Perfect for Kart classes where stock rods are required, but may be modified. This it a proven technique for added longevity to an engine that has to use a stock rod.
