Then, this is another simple auction: Background: We are changing our business focus (that is to say retiring, yippee!!) and moving out a lot of test equipment from the attic, hangar and "Dog House" that is no longer used. Each piece received a minimal "look-see" and will be offered with an honest assessment as to functionality and condition. All items will be sold "As is/Where is" with no warranty expressed or implied. This is a great chance to pick up some good gear at a bargain price. Item Description: This Echoflex T11/1B Cable Fault Locator is particularly suited to the twisted pair environment found in telephone line-outs and Cat 3 through Cat 6 network wiring. It will identify high resistance faults, shorts, opens, water ingress and cross-talk (NEXT and FEXT). It was used in an Engineering environment in the support of Avionics, Airframe or Ground Support Equipment testing. It shows the wear of being used on the shop floor and in the field. Last usage was in May of 2013 and the battery pack was replaced in July of 2013. Overall, this is a VERY CLEAN unit. Known Deficiencies/Faults: - The trace in the display has wandered off screen to the left side of the instrument (See Photo 4). Our tech (who could read the original German) has retired, so no attempt has been made to adjust/repair the x-axis and yoke settings back to specification. For you, this translates to a low opening bid. - The charger/adapter is not original. The replacement has the same output (14 Vdc @ 850 mA) as the factory item.
