Our headstocks are great for holding all types of materials, including soft materials such as plastic and delicate parts. You may notice that our new spindles have a long tail threaded portion behind the headstock. This allows us to use 2 step pulley with our new 600 watt spindle motor. In a nutshell, they will be the most accurate, handle the most load and can run at the highest speeds. If you think you might want the angular contact bearing upgrade; it must be ordered with the headstock (it is not easy to retrofit from the standard deep grove bearing to angular bearing). Our angular contact bearings come in one of two ways; sealed and unsealed. Your bearings come are permanently sealed and lubricated. They do no require any maintenance.
