Data Professionals Providing support for legacy Heathkit products.       Heathkit ID-4801 EPROM Programmer       This is the Heathkit ID-4801 EPROM Programmer.  It is an inexpensive device that is used to program, duplicate, verify, and simulate single power supply  EPROM's.  Features of the Programmer include Keypad Address and Data Entry, EPROM to RAM program transfers, RS-232 Transmit and Receive using the standard Intel format, Program   EPROM, and Verify device to RAM.  This particular model includes the IDA-4801-2 8k RAM Expansion, and the IDA-4801-3 16k RAM Expansion, which takes the usable RAM from 2 k Bytes   up to 16 k Bytes allowing the programming of up to a 16k by 8 (27128) EPROM.    Included are Personality Modules allowing you to read and program the 2516/2716, 2532, 2732, 2732A, 2764, and the 27128 EPROM's.  The unit is fully functional and has no user   modifications or added holes.  It is in exceptional cosmetic condition.  Also included is a copy of the manual.    The second picture shows the power-on-test with 3FFF (16k Bytes) of validated RAM.  The third picture shows the CheckSum of the 27128 device that has just been loaded into RAM.  The   fourth and last picture shows the unit in Edit mode allowing you to change the data contents using the keypad.  (Test 27128 EPROM is not included.)
