Honeywell PW6K1R2 PW-6000 Series Dual Reader Module Item Description: Flexible, modular design fits a wide variety of applications Eight supervised, user-programmable inputs and six programmable relay outputs offer flexible system configuration and control Supports a wide range of reader technologies including magnetic stripe, Wiegand, proximity and keypad Door Open/Closed supervision Optional tile mounting is cost-effective for remote configurations The PW6K1R2 interfaces with the PW6000 Intelligent Control Module (PW5K1IC) providing I/O support for two card readers. The PW6K1R2 is connected to the PW6K1IC Intelligent Control Module through a supervised RS-485 bus at 38,400 bps. It provides two Wiegand format reader ports, up to eight supervised inputs and up to six relay outputs. Hardware interface configuration and card format settings are loaded from the connected intelligent control module. In the event that the communication to a PW6K1IC is lost, the PW6K1R2 can grant access based on facility code. The PW6K1R2 is designed to be wall or rack mounted for maximum density, or tile mounted to save on cost when it is remotely located near the devices to be controlled.
