When the squeegee won't raise correctly this is often the problem. This item will fit on Tennant - Nobles - BlueStar - Castex - OR Green Machine Equipment. The squeegee is replaced when there is streaking behind the scrubber (we assume that the squeegee is not dirty, floor has been dust mopped or swept before using the scrubber and that the squeegee is wiped off before using and whenever needed during use). There are four sides to a squeegee so we advise as a rule of thumb, turning over the squeegee each week and then replacing it at the end of the month (or when the edge on floor is rounded by wear, depending upon usage). This can also be caused by misaligned squeegee (that means that it doesn't hit the floor squarely). Look at the blade where it meets the floor and bends back at a 45 degree angle. Is it even all the way across? How are the squeegee wheels? Are they adjusted so the squeegee hits the floor evenly all the way across? Do the wheels need to be replaced? We have them for you. Shipping is less when you combine orders. This can also be caused by low suction due to hose blockage or vacuum motor failing. Generally you will see water streaming the end of the squeegee especially on turns. Check the hose for blockage and then put your hand over the end to shut off the suction. Is it strong? If the vacuum motor is noisy you may need to replace it to pick up water well again. If you have been using the scrubber too strip floors and the wax foam has gotten into the motor fans inside causing less air to pass and the suction to be reduced. You must change the motor to restore the suction. You can use non-foaming stripper or deformer in the recovery tank to stop premature motor failure. We have strong low cost vacuumed motor for you.
