Selling the following: 1) HP 8660C Synthesized Signal Generator Option 001/005 s/n:1846A02073 2) HP 86633B Modulation Section AM-FM s/n: 1857A00989 3) HP 86603A RF Section 1-2600 MHz s/n: 1816A01121 4) HP 8660C Operating/Service Manual contains schematics 5) HP 86633B Operating/Service Manual contains schematics 6) HP 86603A Operating/Service Manual contains schematics No cables (power, RF, or communication) are shipping with the unit. Exterior of unit is a bit scuffed up and dirty. I noticed a dent on the top out side to the left of the vent hole. It is protruding up from the top. All feet are intact. Tests Performed: 1) System powers up. 2) For the 886603A Operators check on page 3-5: Set the Modulation section to off, and 8660C center frequency to 500 MHz. 88603A set Vernier 437B power Meter measurement 0 dBm +3 dBm 3.83 dBm 10 dBm -3 dBm 7.79 dBm Not sure if power meter is calibrated; RF section did put out RF power 3) Sent the RF out put into a 8562E Spectrum Analyzer Set Point 8660C 8562E measurement from RF section 86603A 1 GHz 997.7 MHz 1.2 GHz 1.1983 GHz 2.0 GHz 1.9953 GHz 2.6 GHz 2.5957 GHz single peak (see picture) 4) With RF Modulator turned on: 8660C set at 100MHz, RF Modulator set at X1 400 internal 90%: Modulated signal could be observed on the spectrum analyzer. Shipping: System is very heavy: 73 pounds for 8660C + 3 modules. 7 pounds for the manuals. As a result, the unit and manuals will ship in two packages via UPS to the 48 continental USA states ONLY. No PO Boxes. UPS does not ship to PO Boxes. I am over-estimating the shipping weight by 10 pounds to compensate for the added cost of shipping two packages. eBay does not calculate shipping costs properly on multiple packages.
