HP Hewlett Packard Agilent 8350B / 83592B 40 GHz sweep signal generator with 0.01 to 20GHz RF module You are bidding on an HP Hewlett Packard Agilent 8350B 40 GHz sweep signal generator with 8392B 0.01 to 20 GHz RF module and GPIB interface. I have provided pictures for you to make your own judgment on the condition of this item. I will describe the item as best as I can based on visual inspection and my knowledge of the item. The item is "Sold as Is" so if you have any questions about the item or would like additional information please email at least 48 hours prior to end of auction. Cosmetically everything appears to be in excellent ++ condition with only minor imperfections. The enclosure is very clean with only very minor markings. Operationally the unit powers on and all The controls and indicators operate. I have conducted several tests that I will describe but these are the limits of what has been tested. I observed the sine wave output at 100 MHz on an oscilloscope- the fastest oscilloscope that I have. I have confirmed that the unit will sweep from the lower to the upper frequency set point automatically using the internal sweep control settings. I have observed signals of about 4 GHz and also about 8 GHz displayed on a spectrum analyzer. The spectrum analyzer shown in some of the photos is not included in this auction. Although everything that I tried seems to work properly I do not have the expertise to properly test every feature for full functionality as it is a complex instrument; sales are as-is but I believe the unit is fully functional and is from a working environment. According to Agilent The 8350 Sweep Oscillator is a powerful general-purpose source for swept microwave measurements, CW signal generations and automatic testing and provides a frequency range of 10 MHz to 40 GHz. Combine the Agilent 8350B mainframe with any of the 11 versatile Agilent 83500 Series RF plug-ins to configure a source that meets your frequency and power requirements. The Agilent 8350 mainframe includes many productivity features, such as five independent, continuously variable markers, a marker sweep function, and save/recall registers that provide quick access to nine complete front panel settings. A power cord is included. The HP 83592B (included) is an RF plug-in of the 83500 Series of broadband plug-ins for the 8350 sweep oscillator. To be a complete operating unit, the 8350 must be used in conjunction with an RF plug-in unit that operates in the required frequency range. The included 83592B covers the frequency range of 0.01 to 20.0 GHz. Bidders should be agreeable to electronic payment via PayPal to confirmed addresses ONLY.
