Made in France by Deglon, one of that nation's finest cutlery companies, it was made with a strong and sturdy 13" stainless steel blade (knife is 18" long overall) that's toughly serrated on a single bevel (right-handed) like a sushi knife, VERY sharp and capable of gliding right through fish bones, so you can imagine how helpful it would be to chef and butcher alike--as well as fishmonger. Handle is a solid piece of blue POM that is virtually indestructible, delivering a sure and ergonomically correct grip; you could use this knife all day long without fatigue.
