This listing is for an IO-Tech "Serial488A" serial to IEEE-488 converter.  This device provides transparent communication between a serial port (RS-232 or RS-422, up to 57,600 baud) and an IEEE-488 (HPIB) bus.  It's in excellent condition, as it was only used in an office environment for development purposes, and includes the manual (with sample programs in Basic), but no power supply. It was working when I last used it, but I now have no way to test the unit, so I'm selling it as-is with no returns (unless it's not as described, of course). The low starting and Buy-It-Now prices reflect this. No parts beyond those shown in the pictures are included. That all said, if you have problems with the unit when you get it, please contact me and we'll work something out.
