Up for sale is one New Hydraulic "T" Fitting and Flared Cap to be installed at the Rockshaft Hydraulic Fluid Return. If you have added an accessory oil hydraulic supply and are now needing to return the hydraulic oil, here is a 1 1/16" hydraulic fluid "Return" "T" Fitting. It is for the returning oil to reenter at the proper location to avoid hydraulic supply pump starvation. This "Return" Fitting is installed at the rockshaft return line on the left (Driver's side) to the rear / beside the transmission filter. There are two elbows on the rear side of the filter. The "Top" elbow with the rockshaft return line attached is replaced with this return "T". On Powershift Transmissions things are more congested and the installation location is to be where the "Lower" elbow is. The reason is because on 3020's the battery box may bump the end of the fitting if installed in the top location. On the Powershift 4020's, the rockshaft oil return pipe would require bending (If it even could be bent) so this new Return "T" is to be installed where the "Lower" / forward elbow is. (See arrow in the picture above with the filter, to see where the Return "T" is to be installed.) This will work with tractors without a Rockshaft (3 Point Hitch) but you will need an additional Cap if you remove your implement / loader and will be needing to "cap-off" the now open flare nipple of the "T". An alternative procedure is to tap into the transmission filter cover (Not with this "T" fitting) or purchase a special cover that Deere will gouge your wallet for. This fitting is straight through with no restrictions. The return "T" is a 37 degree tapered flare with 1 1/16" x 12 thread. One flare Cap is included to be used to "cap-off" the end of the "T" if you remove the implement and still want to operate the tractor without having to reinstall the original elbow previously removed. Or, keep the cap available in the tool box in the event that a main Hydraulic hose blows and you will be able to cap off the "T" allowing you to get the tractor to a location it could be repaired properly. This will fit more than just the 4020s and 3020s.
