You will be bidding on a used Brunson 273 series coordinate lateral adjuster.  This base provides fine-threaded coordinate control of the instrument in any horizontal direction. They can be used on collimation test stands for transit centering calibrations or for alignment to known points in a vertical orientation. The top thread is the standard 3 1/2-8 instrument mounting thread. The base is designed to be bolted to any flat surface and also will accommodate a Brunson 395 series see through target, for vertical positioning. All screws work fine, but are missing the shoes that push against the instrument mounting ring. Some surface rust, dirty and nicks but functional.   EMAIL SELLER WITH QUESTIONS.
