Kern Swiss K1-M Theodolite / Transit (6 second) An accurate Automatic Vertical Circle Indexing System which allows speedy instrument setup because the instrument only requires rough levelling with the vertical circle automatically indexed to a true vertical axis. The horizontal and vertical circle images appear simultaneously in the circler reading eyepiece. The circles and the micrometre are completely numeric which warrants for rapid and accurate work. With the common micrometre, both circles provided direct readings to 6 seconds and estimates to 3 seconds of a degree.
