You are bidding on 8+ Fertile Khaki Campbell Duck Eggs from Crazy Acres Farm in North Carolina. We only ship fresh laid eggs with nothing over 2 days old and we will provide a few extra eggs just for good measure. Eggs are collected daily and will be individually wrapped and sent to your location within the continental US via priority mail labeled as fragile hatching eggs. We will do everything possible to give you fresh, fertile, unbroken eggs. Once the eggs leave our hands there is little I can control. We ship all our eggs in a USPS medium flat rate priority mail as to ensure you receive your eggs by in a timely fashion. Please place your eggs at room temperature for a minimum of 6 hours prior to incubation. Your incubator should be running at a stable temperature for 24 hours prior to start of incubation per operating instructions. I hope you enjoy these ducks as much as my wife and kids do. These are the ducks of their choice as khaki Campbell's are capable of hatching up to 300 eggs per year and they do not require special care or artificial lighting to produce a large number of eggs, which are white and weight about 2.5 ounces. Campbell’s are extremely hardy, are excellent foragers, and are at home on land as well as in water. They eat large quantities of slugs, snails, insects, algae, and mosquitoes from ponds, but do not require swimming water to stay healthy. The ducks are mainly khaki colored and the drakes have greenish-bronze heads with brown-bronze tails, backs, and necks.
