Lithograph of Gutenberg's Schopfung 1493 This lithograph depicts Gutenbergs shop when he invented movable type, oil base ink, and the wooden printing press. The lithograph displays the furnace that melted the lead.  The molten lead was poured into a mold the contained a letter of the alphabet. It was then used to set the type that was then used on the press.   The lithograph was signed by the artist Ward H. Hall in 1986. Inset into the mat is an actual letter cast from one of Gutenberg's Mold. Frame Size: 32 3/4"  x  26 1/2" For more information Call Ed 330-727-3188 voice or text
