This listing is for a lot of four (4) Kaowool Thermal Insulation Boards in "M" grade, measuring 6" x 6" x 1/4" thick each, with the item number 304. These high-performance boards, paper and felt products from Thermal Ceramics are the preferred choice for thermal, acoustical, or filtration management over traditional fiberglass, textile, or metal products. Kaowool "M" Grade Board products are made from high-purity fibers and organic binders in a unique paper/felt making process. These components were not specifically manufactured for an individual application, so be sure to check the dimensional descriptions carefully for your application. Future returns or requests for refunds because of some "fit" issue or the like will not be honored. We strive to maintain excellent customer service and are able to solve virtually any issues you may have. This Kaowool "M" Grade Board is useful for low thermal conductivity and heat storage, thin, flexible high temperature insulation, easily die-cut to form complex shapes for high temperature gasketing, excellent backup and expansion joint material, and more. It has a maximum temperature rating of 2300 degrees F (1260 degrees C) and a high tensile strength of 200-300 PSI. These components have a length of approximately 6" (152 mm), a width of approximately 6" (152 mm), and a thickness of approximately 0.25" (6 mm). The specific gravity or density is 11-13 pounds/cubic foot (176-208 kg/cubic meter), and the continuous use temperature is 2150F (1176C). The fusion temperature or melting temperature is 1760В°C or 3200В°F, and the thermal conductivity is @500F (260C) 0.40 BTU inch/hour foot square (0.06 W/m* K) @1000F (538C) 0.63 BTU inch/hour foot square (0.09 W/m* K) @1500F (816C) 0.95 BTU inch/hour foot square (0.14 W/m* K) @2000F (1093C) 1.38 BTU inch/hour foot square (0.20 W/m* K).
