The S-CAN Magnetic Base and Adjustable Ground Plate set is the perfect combination set for onsite and offside 3D Scanning and Probing.    The S-CAN Magnetic Mount has been designed as a quality, yet affordable alternative to the Faro and Romer options.  A 3 1/2 ” - 8 thread (used by CMM Measuring arms.) securely fixes the arm to the base. Three recessed switchable magnets securely hold the mount to a suitable surface, while keeping the base as low as possible to the surface. This provides unrivalled stability.  It has been designed to be non-obtrusive while also offering an ergonomic design for carrying.     The S-CAN Adjustable Ground Plate  provides a secure and easy portable solution to mount your CMM arm at ground level.  Each of the 3 legs has 25mm of height adjustability and locks in place securely using stainless steel fixtures.  The base itself is powder coated steel and carries a total weight of 7.3kg. The price includes no taxes.
