Its here!!  Our new 2X version!! Made for Makerbot's heated platform. Take you printer to the next level!! Please note the pictures show the plate before it is has been black hard anodized.  All plates will be shipped black in color. This auction is for one CNC machined aluminum build plate upgrade to replace the warped stock cast build plate. We all know how warped the stock cast plate is and frustrating it can be to get a good print off of it.    So here it is, a machined aluminum plate cut to exact tolerance and thickness!  No need to modify your machine as this is a snap to install!   This build plate will improve the quality and consistency of your Makerbot by prints! The top surface is custom ground to +/- .0004 of inch flatness and parallelism.  The bottom side of the plate is then CNC to exact specs with our new state of the art vertical milling center. We then Hard Anodized the plate to Mil Spec to make it super its durable.  I won’t use the cheap consumer grade anodizing that just won’t hold up. We all know that the stock cast plate can be warped as much as 0.040 inch.  Why add unnecessary inaccuracy to your prints!
