GENERAL: Designed to produce up to 100 psi pressure under the platen. Heavy-duty T-304 stainless steel platen with 1" vent valve. Viton sealing O-ring in special inverted conical groove. SUPPORT FRAME: Heavy-duty tubular steel support frame: - Designed for positioning of mix can in the discharge with a fork lift or similar device. - 30" clearance under the discharge opening for customer’s portable conveyor. - High quality industrial paint on carbon steel surfaces. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: Hi/low hydraulic system providing fast platen movement in the unloaded condition and high pressure, low flow in the discharge condition. - Approximately 1/2 ”/sec. free downward movement of platen at no load (Approximately 42 second retract time). - Product discharge approximately 15 minutes at up to 2340 psi hydraulic pressure. Electric up/down platen movement controls. Rear mount air cooled heat exchanger to limit oil temperature. Hydraulic power unit is fully assembled and tested and is designed for installation next to the discharge frame. Connecting hoses arc provided. 7 1/2 HP TEFC drive motor CONTROLS: NEMA 12 control enclosure. - Hydraulic pump on/off controls with starter. - Platen up/down controls. - Control system is suitable for 460 volt/3 phase, 60 cycle power supply.
