It's better to be careful, and we wouldn't recommend buying a tape dispenser from someone who is selling household items or is a collector or dress salesman. Here at Patco, we've been experts in tape and tape dispensing equipment since 1949. We may charge a slightly higher price, but you're getting an awesome machine and a company that's here to back it all up. Despite the many listings you'll find on eBay or other websites offering tape dispensers, offering a warning is necessary. If you're in search of a machine that's really ready to go, you should be extremely careful and worried about what you might get. We've bought over 3500 machines on eBay and nearly every one of them had an issue. We don't bother since we knew there would be issues such as missing parts, jamming, wrong lengths, heaters not heating up, springs that are shot, motor brushes that have worn out, blades full of rust and build-up, and more. This is an exceptional gummed tape dispenser that works perfectly and has been serviced and cleaned to the best of our ability. This tape dispenser is available in both green and beige colors, and while some may look better than others, they all work perfectly. Some versions of this model even come with an old style door cover while others have a removable cover, as shown in the pictures, but regardless, this product is a steal. Before reading this Our tape dispenser comes with the capability of handling up to 3" wide tape and rolls up to 600ft for both non-reinforced and reinforced gummed tape. If you're looking for a cheap, low-quality tape machine that is rusted out and has never been serviced or warrantied, then do not look our way. We only sell real nice, perfectly working machines that have been fully tested. Some versions may look better than others, but they all work perfectly, or we don't sell them. We scrap them! Our machines are all used but far from abused. They have been fully tuned up and tested and have been power-washed and cleaned up so that they look nice. We have both newish-looking machines and older-looking ones that work perfectly, depending on whether you care about cosmetics.
