Up for buy it now is a used MS1633 wireless bluetooth barcode scanner wand (manufacturing dates vary), 2 used working batteries that have been tested to hold a charge (One guaranteed manufactured in 2009, and the second one will be older), battery charger, Original 6ft AC adapter, and CodeXML M2 bluetooth modem with 6ft USB cable. Each lot is for one set of everything pictured. When used in this mode, the scanner counts the number of times each item's barcode is scanned and stores that data until you want to retrieve it, thus giving you a list of inventory that has been scanned with the scanner.Data will input wherever data would appear if you were to type on a USB keyboard and NO DRIVERS OR SPECIAL SOFTWARE ARE REQUIRED FOR USE. They will work on any operating system that accepts USB keyboards including Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Win 7, Mac OSX, and any recent version of Linux or Unix. I have pre-configured them and they are completely PLUG AND PLAY!Unique features of this scanner include:A power switch on the battery which prevents battery drain when not in use by completely disconnecting the battery with a push of the button.Inventory mode - keeps track of the barcodes scanned and the quantities of each until prompted to output this data whether bluetooth connection is active or not.Range Gate - Stores any codes that are scanned when bluetooth connection is interrupted and then outputs these codes automatically - in order - once the bluetooth connection is re-established. These codes are stored even when the scanner gets powered down!The CodeXML Bluetooth Modem is a class I Bluetooth device, which means better range than standard Class II bluetooth devices!These scanners can read all common 1D barcodes as well as all of the common 2D barcode types including IMB (USPS Intelligent Mail Barcode), GS1 DataBar, QR code, Micro QR Code, MaxiCode, Aztec code, PDF417, Data Matrix, Postal, Codablock, and EAN-UCC Composite 2D.
