This (1X) power & (3X) power on a turret microscope , with (10X) occulars , was in a closet probably for 30 years or so and is in excellent condition , except for the power cord as where the switch is , the rubber grommets for the in and out put of the electrical cord have eroded due to age . Not a danger , but replacing them would bring peace of mind ! And this is the only one I've seen this old that has a Swift light with it as well !
