I was able to transmit with this unit before it was disassembled. It can be used for parts, project or to be put back in service but is being sold as is. The top cover is missing and the unit requires 12v to run.
Motorola MSR2000 Repeater Base Station Model Number: Unknown General Information: Removed from service when a local government agency upgraded their radio system and other equipment. There's information floating around online about using these on the 70cm amateur ham radio band. The sticker on the isolator suggests this unit operated on 453.9000 TX and probably 458.9000 MHz RX.
