New Brunswick Fermentor Vessels & Accessories   For sale- a lot of New Brunswick Fermentor Vessels and Accessories.  As you can see there are 3 Two Liter glass cylinders, but only one fermentor can be made complete.  A second fermentor looks to have everything you need EXCEPT the lower ring that comes up underneath the lip of the jar and allows you to tighten the top ring to it to sandwich the black rubber gasket in place.   I have an old New Brunswick catalog from 1990, it looks like this sort of pyrex fermentation jar would have been for the Multigen Fermentor system, but I don’t know that for a fact.  One 2 liter conversion kit for the Multigen system was $1340 in 1990, probably a bit more now if they are still available.   Or buy the entire lot shown here for less than one new one.   I do need to mention that I think the glass jars are supposed to have a small nipple sticking up at the bottom for the impeller to ride on.  That is present in the one complete fermentor (I guess it is complete, please study the pictures carefully and if you need a different look at something please ask).  One of the other two jars has some of that remaining although the shoulders of the nipple are rounded off, maybe usable, maybe not.  The third jar is missing the centering nipple altogether.   The pieces are completely untested and NO warranty is offered.  However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.  Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.  Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed.  Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs.   Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested.  As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk.  If you Buy It Now your risk is limited to the shipping costs both ways.  If you submit an offer you do so knowing that you cannot return it.  In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you, and if not you need to pass on this particular item.   I also have a New Brunswick Microferm Fermentor that maybe someday I will get around to listing.  The fermentor itself is in iffy condition, but I do have the large fermentation vessel for it complete with all the internals as well.  Please check out my other listings for that and more interesting lab, test, and optical equipment.  Check back often!   Sold as is, as described, as pictured.  Potential buyers are asked to please make sure you have read the listing carefully, and understand what you are buying.  Ebay’s condition codes for used items, which I am now required to select from, might imply a degree of functionality that my limited time, knowledge, and facilities do not allow me to ascertain.  If the functional condition of the item is known it will be stated as such in the listing.  Unless a warranty is specifically offered returns are not accepted regardless of any implied functionality.   You are also encouraged to visit my “ME” page, where my terms, conditions, and philosophy of doing business are outlined.  I don’t think anything there is outside the bounds of normal e-commerce, but they are binding on the transaction.   Payment is expected within 7 days of the close of the sale and I need to hear from you within 3 days to confirm the transaction.  Please add $23.99 for shipping anywhere in the continental US.  International shipments, plus Alaska and Hawaii for actual shipping costs plus $5.   Ebay (in their infinite wisdom) forces me to include a “Handling Time” in the listing which they then factor into the delivery time.  As a default I use 5 days to allow for the worst case scenario, which would be that I am out of town when you buy and then can’t find the item when I get home.  In most cases I ship the next business day after payment is made, and sometimes things even go out the same day.  I’m just not willing to commit to that timeframe for every transaction.
