New Fostec Fiberoptic Cable Assembly From Melles Griot Vision System

This auction is for one new Fostec Fiberoptic Cable Assembly. These were removed from a brand new in the box Melles Griot Custom Machine Vision Module Model No. 049500, DOM August 2001. Each cable is marked Fostec, but does not have a P/N. There was a warning tag attached about glass fibers, so I assume that is what they are. Each one measures 60.5” overall & the cable portion is 56.5” long. The cable sheath diameter is 12mm & the fiber diameter appears to be 6 mm. One end is terminated with a potted 90 degree stainless steel fitting that is 10 mm in diameter x 31 mm long for mounting. The other end is 22.1 mm in diameter x 32.5 mm long, steps down to 18.2 mm in diameter x 11.9 mm long & steps down again, but I can’t measure it because a lens is glued on with a black anodized body that measures 17.1 mm in diameter x 9.3 mm long. It has a blue glass lens with a line/seam in the middle. The stainless steel ends & fiber sheaths are spotless. The other ends have some light cosmetic marks on the exterior surfaces like they were mounted for testing (I have shown the worse one of the three), but they appear unharmed & came with the protective rubber cap on the end. They were also wrapped in multiple layers of foam. GENERAL ITEM DETAILS: The picture shown is the actual item(s) being sold and everything that is included is shown or listed in the ad. The shipping costs listed are the best option within the Continental U.S. using USPS PRIORITY w/delivery confirmation or Fedex Ground. We combine shipping on multiple items if purchased within 7 days. If you are waiting for another item to end PLEASE contact us at the end of the auction for the first item so we don’t continue to send invoices/reminders. After the remaining items have ended we will send you an invoice with the combined shipping total. However, for protection purposes some items cannot be combined. Likewise, some heavy items that fit in a USPS Flat Rate Box may no longer fit if multiple items are purchased so the shipping cost and method may change accordingly. We securely package all items and unless noted in the ad, double box any item in OEM packaging. You may notice that our prices are a couple dollars more than others but that is because we don’t ship PARCEL POST and we ship EVERYTHING in a box. We don’t expect our customers to wait 14 days to get something and we don’t want them to hope their item is undamaged when it’s shipped in a flimsy envelope!
