Diamond Cut Garages' aluminum tread plate utility shelf is a new design using high quality materials and easy to assemble parts. This package includes: 1x Shelf Platform 2x Steel powder coated brackets 1x Hardware for mounting and assembly of shelf. The shelf has a maximum capacity of 500 lbs. when using the supplied hardware with wooden studs. The shelf has cantilevered patented design with no supporting angle braces. Tools Needed: - Tape measure - Level - Stud finder (Nail to confirm stud location may be necessary) - Drill w/ drill bits for wood stud (no metal drilling needed.) - Socket wrench (for lag bolt tightening) - Gloves and Safety glasses Features: · Store up to 500 pounds on each commercial grade shelf. · Shelves are supported by brackets with no gussets. This opens up the entire space under the shelf eliminating obstacles in your garage. o Park your car under the shelf and easily open doors with plenty of clearance. o Walk paths under shelves are completely open. o This feature allows for additional storage space in a small single or double garage. o Use as a workbench and there are not obstructions to worker's legroom or cabinets that roll under workbench. · Front cover and rear back-splash are built-in. o Function as an I-beam that supports across the front and rear of the shelf. o Essential to the structural integrity of the shelf. The added support allows for longer spans between supports.
