Introducing our new 50 amp INVERTIWELD / SIMPLEX DPC50 inverter plasma cutter. This 220 volt single phase unit is a full size and rugged shop rated plasma cutter, evenly matching or surpassing the performance of big name units costing much more. Digital controls have been utilized to enhance performance and useability. Each machine is completely QC tested here in the USA and cut tested in every mode-every single machine has this check performed, no exceptions. This is your guarantee of a GREAT out of box experience. The INVERTIWELD / SIMPLEX DPC50 utilizes high quality European IGBT modules in it's power stage and offers a robust electrical and mechanical construction, in all other areas as well. Single knob digital control provides storage of 10 separate programs. Parameters are accessed through 4 push-buttons beneath the tough control membrane. Program parameters are as follows: *Air pre-flow, 0.1sec.-2.0sec. *Cutting current, 20 amps- 50 amps *Air post-flow, 3.0sec.-25.0sec. Additionally, a function to maintain the cutting current after the trigger is pressed and released is provided. This is useful for long cuts or cuts in tough positions, and helps reduce operator fatigue. To finish cutting when utilizing this function, simply press and release the trigger a second time. The DPC50 is easy to use even for those who may be "digitalphobic", the digital enhancements make the job easier, as opposed to making things more complicated. The ability to store canned programs is especially useful in a production or semi-production environment, yet any parameter can be instantly and easily modified and adjusted "on the fly", for single use or special jobs. The P-80 torch is lightweight and simple, with a large paddle type trigger, easily operated with a gloved hand. The unique torch design eliminates the swirl ring, reducing the number of consumable parts to a total of 3. Pilot arc provides easy and trouble free starting. Cuts can be made in steel up to 3/4" thick, of course as with all flame and plasma cutting process, travel speeds and cut quality are significantly dependent on operator skill. The INVERTIWELD / SIMPLEX DPC50 is a very capable and easy to use machine that will serve you well, paying for itself in short order. The full amps 60% duty cycle keeps you cutting, and the low current draw makes this a truly green machine! You will receive the DPC50 plasma cutter and manual, and the following accessories: *Ground clamp, (removable type with DINSE connector). *12.5 foot air cooled P-80 style torch with handle trigger. *10 pieces, 1.5mm tip/nozzles. *10 pieces electrodes. *1 spare ceramic gas shield. *Torch service wrench. *Removable torch roller guide. *Rear mounted air regulator/ moisture separator. All you will need is your personal gear, a 220V-25 amp or higher plug, air supply hose and connector, and clean, oil free, dry air at about 4SCFM volume at pressures of between 55PSI and 90PSI.
