All LP Series Lens Positioners can be bolted down to a table using the slotted base plate included. You'll love the precise, 100 TPI adjustment screws with knobs including an integral hex hole that allow smooth adjustment with increased sensitivity. With five independent degrees of freedom, you can accurately position an optic along any axis and in any plane. Our zero-freeplay XY mechanism ensures accurate positioning and long-term stability, while minimizing drift over both time and temperature, without relying on grease to take up the clearance between sliding elements. Additionally, it has a 2.5 inch optical axis height and threaded holes in the bottom allow for post mounting, providing easy adjustment of their optical axis height and azimuthal orientation. The Newport LP-1A is a top-notch One inch Diameter Lens Positioner that offers five degrees of precision positioning for 1 inch (25.4 mm) optical components. The threaded central aperture accommodates optic retaining rings and a variety of optics holders, and comes with two non-marring Delrin retaining rings and an optic holder. Independent locks for each axis of translation and rotation securely lock the mechanism, maintaining stable optical alignment.
