This is a nice, clean Heathkit model # IB-5281 RLC Bridge. I received it as part of a large lot of used Amateur Radio and electronic test equipment, including other pieces of this Blue-cased series of Heathkit test equipment, which will be listed in separate auctions. It appears to be in very good condition but is not tested and it is sold as-is, as it may need recalibration or other maintenance performed. From the Introduction section of the manual: "The Heathkit Model IB-5281 RLC Bridge is a general-purpose instrument that you can use to check the value of resistors, inductors and capacitors. Use it for bench work with the optional power supply, or as a portable test unit for field use with two standard 9-volt batteries. Terminals are provided on the front panel for the component under test (Zx) and an external standard (Zs)." It requires two - 9V batteries or an AC adapter for power (neither are supplied). A copy of the assembly/instruction manual is included. All of the switches and controls move freely. This would be a great piece of test equipment for your Ham Radio or radio repair test bench! PayPal is accepted for payment, but other forms of mailed-in payments are also accepted and would be much preferred! Shipping charges will be $18.65 via USPS to CONUS (ONLY) locations, with careful packing. Any international sales must use eBay's Global Shipping Program service, where I ship the unit to a USA address, they take care of any necessary customs, etc. paperwork, and then ship to the winning bidder. Shipping charges are based on USPS charges to USA destinations for recently shipped similar Heathkit Signal Generators and other packages of about the same size and weight, packing materials, and a 20-mile round-trip drive to the nearest Post Office. Please also remember that both eBay and PayPal take a percentage of the shipping charges, which increases the cost for the seller to ship items to the winning bidder.
