Up for auction is a Nova X-PAK 604PE hideaway strobe preemption emitter in good working condition. This unit is used to override traffic lights for emergency vehicles and mass transit vehicles, but this unit is unique. It turns your hideaway strobes into the preemption emitters instead of having a separate unit. I have never seen another company make one of these and these are really hard to find! This unit can do both High Priority (14Hz) and Low Priority (10Hz) preemption signalling. High Priority is used for emergency vehicles, which interrupts the timing cycle and gives the emergency vehicle a green light within seconds. Low Priority is used in mass transit agencies to shorten the timing cycle of the light to avoid being late. This unit will also do a megaflash pattern when preemption control isn't necessary. This unit is a 4 head, 60W power pack and it has the standard strobe head connectors that Whelen power packs have on them. This is super easy to install, apply 12V to the unit and add a switch to one of the control wires and you are ready to go! Auction includes the power and control wiring harnesses and instructions on how to wire the unit. This unit should be used by authorized persons only and the seller will not be held liable for its misuse. The bidder agrees to these terms when purchasing this item.
