What I have for sale here is a truly unique item. This is an early 1900s Brunner steam engine or air compressor converted into a Hit N Miss Engine! This a beautifully made with a lot off Brass fixings including a centrifugal flyball governor. Many early stationary steam engines used this type of Governor. This Engine has a nice Jefferson coil for ignition and is very Hot. Brass oilers, Brass Grease cups, brass muffler, and brass lunkenheimer type mixer/ carburetor. This Thing starts easy and will run all day long on only a few ounces of Fuel. This could be used for Off Grid applications and power small appliances. Many hours of labor have been put into designing this thing. I've ran it indoors with a window cracked for ventilation for a few hours with coleman fuel. For a video of this running look up Brunner hit miss on youtube. You will be amazed how smooth it Runs! Open crank design with single twisted spoke flywheel that reminds me a lot of the old steam and gas oilfield engines. I've ran it at shows last year all day long. Feel free to ask any questions.
