The frame and blade are made of carbon steel, and the wood handle is attached with four screws. This is a vintage CHATILLON (John Chatillon & Sons) butcher's bone saw. Shipping can be combined for multiple purchases. The frame is stamped simply with "CHATILLON." It measures 27-3/4" overall, with a 21" blade, 7-1/2" overall height, and a 15/16" thick handle. The company was established in New York in 1835 and remains in operation. Although the handle has some dents and gouges, it's still sturdy. The metal has some rust spots but is well preserved overall.
