This is a really nice, original, and larger #3 Penberthy Safety brass connecting rod oiler for a hit and miss gas engine, steam engine, or other piece of machinery.    It  is in excellent, used condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs of any kind.  It needs a little cleaning and probably new gaskets but that's the fun part.   It is marked Penberthy Safety on the adjustment handle.   It is about 2 3/8 inches in diameter and 6 1/4 inches tall overall.  It has 3/8 inch pipe threads and they are in great shape.   The hex has some very minor wrench marks on it and is tough to notice unless you are looking for them.   These larger rod oilers are tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance on it.  I highly doubt there's too many left to be found!  The pictures tell the story.  Good Luck.
