Up for bid is a original 1951 book, "A Treatise on Milling and Milling Machines".  This is a third edition, Copyright 1951 by the Cincinnati Milling Co., Printed in U.S.A.  The book Jacket has wear, however I don't believe the book was actually used.  The spine is on an angle, probably from other books being piled on top of it.  Most of the books from my uncles estate have not been used.  He seemed to just buy things and then set them away.  The book has 910 pages with no tears, stains, folds, etc.  The Contents contains 19 Chapters: 1. The Milling Machine; 2. Milling Machine Accessories; 3. Milling Cutters; 4. Milling Cutter Materials; 5. Milling Cutter Elements; 6. Sharpening and Care of Milling Cutters; 7. The Milling Process; 8. Chip Formation, Surface Finish, and Cutting Fluids; 9 Power Required in Milling; 10. Mounting of Milling Cutters; 11. The Milling Machine in Toolroom Work; 12. The Use of Work Indexing in Repetitive Milling Operations; 13. Milling of Helical Surfaces; 14. Milling Cams and Other Surfaces of Curved Contour; 15. Milling Dies, Molds, and Parts of Cylindrical or Irregular Contour; 16. Diversified Uses of Milling Equipment in Toolroom Work and Inspections; 17. Production Milling; 18. Fixtures and Fixture Design; 19.
