Our neoprene is black, with a slick/smooth top surface, and a spongy/textured bottom surface, in a 4mm thickness. We do not have any additional colors or thinner/thicker material than this. We also do not have any material covered with fabric. Neoprene is referred to as neoprene fabric, because it is a thin, elastic sheet of material used in a variety of applications. This is an excellent buy on this quality material as our Mini Pieces (14" x 25") sell for $8.00 each. Check the title for the piece size. Expect some imperfections with these pieces. Most have wrinkles, some have small spots, etc. The picture is a generic picture for color and texture purposes. All pieces are black, smooth/slick on one side and spongy on the back side. If you buy more than one piece, shipping may be changed to UPS Ground due to the size and weight of the box. Here is a little more about our "scraps": Each piece of this neoprene is a piece of high quality material used in our manufacturing process. They become "scraps" when they are not large enough/good enough for us to use. Each piece is 4mm thick, scuba grade neoprene material although we are not manufacturers of wetsuits so we are fresh out of tips & tricks on building those (thank you for not asking us)! The item size is listed in the title. The measurements are usually a little smaller (about an inch or two) than the true size of the piece as you may want to straighten and trim the edges before using it. You can see from the pics the edges may be a little jagged cut and there are a few wrinkles. Please note that depending on your application, some of the wrinkles will flatten out but some may not. If you NEED a certain size, and it is close (or larger) than the measurements in the title, please email me to ensure the piece is large enough for your application rather than banking on the 1-2 extra inches that it may/may not have.
