This medium duty, branded discharge hose is suitable for limited oil and chemical applications in mining, construction, industry, agriculture and marine service. The red tube is a Pliovic (PVC)/nitrile rubber blend with limited oil and chemical resistance. Its Pliovic (PVC) MSHA 2G-14C/16 cover is resistant to moisture, oils, and abrasives, and is approved by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) as flame resistant.

This branded hose is manufactured for medium-duty water discharge service where the hose does not encounter severe handling. Its tube and cover are made of Versigard (EPDM, ethylene propylene diene monomer) synthetic rubber for high resistance to heat, ozone, weathering, and aging, as well as mild chemical resistance. Its spiral plied synthetic fabric reinforcement provides the strength necessary for this hose to reach and maintain its maximum pressure rating of 125 psi.

The Goodyear Engineered Products Horizon Red Versigard rubber multipurpose hose assembly is made for a wide range of applications requiring a maximum pressure of 200 or 300 psi. Its Versigard (EPDM) synthetic rubber tube has a Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) Class C, limited oil resistance rating, which means that it will undergo a maximum volume change of +100% and maintain at least 40% of its tensile strength after exposure to oil.
