Palomar LuxY Information The LuxY is a high-powered handpiece that is typically used for treating hard-to-remove fine light hair.. The LuxY has a large 16X46 mm Spot Size, making it ideal for fast treatment times over a broad area of the patient’s skin. Palomar LuxG Information The LuxG handpiece is used for skin rejuvenation. It is great for eliminating pigmentation and vascular lesions. Moreover, in order to remove pigmentation, this laser also targets melanin which is a black to brown pigment responsible for tanning of the skin. The LuxG is also great at treating rosacea: a skin condition that causes the skin on a person’s face to become red due to enlarged facial blood vessels. Palomar LuxV Information The Palomar LuxV handpiece is used to treat acne as well as pigmented lesions on the skin. The IPL is applied to the skin, activating the body’s natural collagen production to heal the acne. In order to remove pigmentation, this laser also targets melanin which is a black to brown pigment responsible for tanning of the skin. Palomar LuxRs Information The LuxRs is a high-powered IPL handpiece that is used for hair removal. This IPL hair removal handpiece works on all skin types I-VI and has a smaller 12mm X 28mm spot size for focused, targeted treatments, especially on difficult, resistant areas.
