If you have a DHC or DH2 4' x 4' Plasma CAM machine and purchase your replacement grid slats from PlasmaCAM this is for you! You can cut your own slats and save a bundle of cash! You will be sent a .pcm file so you can cut your own replacement parts. An email will be sent to you within 24 hours after payment is made on your purchase. I save over $135.00 each time I cut another set for myself. My steel cost $108.93 for a 48"x 120" (4’ x 10’) sheet of 14 gage. Using 1 sheets of steel they costs me $6.00 each. Plasma cam price $199 + $45.00 s/h that is $15.25 each That is a one time savings of $135.00. This is less than half as much as a grate set from Plasma Cam, not including shipping. If you are using 8’ sheets you can cut 13 slats from each sheet. This is only $ .70 more per slat. This is still a significant savings. Plasma CAM grid points 144 / side or 288 total Accufast2D grid points 400 / side or 800 total Still have the same grid locations as Plasma CAM but added an additional 512 points. More grate points offer you greater part contact, more part stability during and after the cut. This means less part to gantry hang-ups and more cutting time. We have incorporated end stops just like Plasma CAM's. Save yourself some money. The file is in the .pcm format. Copy one and cut 4 at the same time on the table without re-adjusting the sheet. I can cut more than 16 grid slats to a 10’ sheet. You will save more money if using a 10 foot sheet. If you are using 8 foot sheets it will take one and one half sheets to make 16 grid slats. Cut a few test pieces to adjust your offset to make sure your slots are the correct width. Then set up and cut the slats. My offset settings with my Powermax 1000 are 55 amps @ .019" offset @ 160ipm. I cut a complete set +2 for 18 grid slats yesterday and it took me less than 45 minutes! Why pay more for the grate when you can make them yourself. Theirs are laser cut and very nice.
