What is PIC-EK PIC-EK is a MCU development system for the PIC starters. What’s on board Dual Power Supply--Board is equipped with power supply unit capable of supporting both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. Board can be powered over USB cable, or external adapter connectors. USB connector--Board provides USB connector necessary for writting applications that use USB communication. 1-digit 7-seg display--PIC-EK provides 4-digit common cathode display for your applications. 4-digit 7-seg display--Driving 7-segment displays is fun! PIC-EK? provides 4-digit display for your applications. RS232 Circuit--RS232 communication circuit. Remote--1838B infrared device provided on the board for your remote control. LCD Contrast Potentiometers--The potentiometer allows you to adjust the contrast level of the pixels on your LCD1602 character display. LCD1602 Socket--Board is equipped with LCD1602 connector which allow you to connect LCD1602 display easily LCD Contrast Potentiometers The potentiometer allows you to adjust the contrast level of the pixels on your LCD12864 display. LCD12864 Socket Board is equipped with LCD12864 connector which allow you to connect LCD12864 display easily. Chip Socket--for10F2XX, 8PIN, 14PIN, 18PIN/20PIN/28PIN and 40PIC PIC MCUs. Crystal Socket--Crystal Socket provides easy way to change different Crystal the user need. Power Output Connecter--Board is equipped with Power Output Port. DS1820 Temp Sensor--Board supports Dallas DS18B20 One-Wire digital temperature sensor. I2C EEPROM--You can store xxxx bytes of data into on-board 24CXX Serial EEPROM. RTC Module--It features the PCF8563 real-time clock (RTC). Buzzer/Speaker--With buzzer you can debug your project, or have audio signalization feature. SP2 Port--you can use it to build a KEY board of PC input. ICSP connector--You need to use an external programmer with PIC-EK?, we have provided the standard ICSP compatible connector.
