Offered, one model 107C "The Professional" Geiger counter made by Precision Radiation Instruments of Los Angeles, CA. This was a top of the line instrument in its day, made for uranium prospectors and laboratory work. It is housed in a deluxe leather case (excellent condition). The counter and probe are fully chrome-plated. This was not just for "bling," but to give the instrument a hard, easily cleaned surface that could be decontaminated after work in the field. This device is original and fully functional--I tested it. It requires Model 107C: two 1.5 volt (RCA VS036, Eveready D99), one 45 volt (RCA VS055, Eveready 455) and one 67.5 volt (RCA VS016, Eveready 467) batteries. The Geiger counter is like new. There is very slight freckling in some areas of the chrome finish.  The original operator's manual is included. No headphone, though the unit takes a standard high impedance type with a 1/4 inch mono jack.  A really fine example of the mid-50s uranium boom Geiger counter! For more on the device see National Radiation Instrument catalog website (I'm not allowed to list their URL, but they are easy to find.) The cased instrument measure 9.5 x 6 x 6 inches. Unpackaged weight, 5 pounds 6 ounces (includes the headphone). You will not find a better condition example of a 1950s vacuum tube Geiger counter!
