These are very hard to find in this shape. Ive lucked out and was able to get my hands 4 in the last two months. I think thats it for "mint" 6Bs. The internals have been fully restored & calibrated to original specs. Accurate within 99% +/-. Components replaced during rebuild are a better quality than original factory components. Some are military spec / grade. Externally and internally this is very clean unit. I do not restore units which had batteries left in. Lower can had sprayed paint in the bottom and I added an updated schematic sticker. The CDV-700 series meters are meter to get. They are used when users need to detect of any level of radiation near, or from far away. This includes: disasters in distant lands, foods, pets, debris, even people. They can be used for oil well pipe inspection, mineral mining, and more. Can be used to check persons undergoing radiation therapy. If beta or gamma radiation (most common) becomes attached to something, this will detect it. The CDV-700 can also be connected to a PC using CDV click counting software using a audio adapter (see other ebay seller for the software package). In my opinion being EMP proof, waterproof, rebuildable and rugged, this is the most valuable radiation detection meter one can own. They are simple to use. Again the 700s are rebuilt here and ready for decades of hard work or standby. Under normal use I warranty the 700s for life. Calibration: We adjust the gauge needle, followed by high voltage adjustment using the supplied the GM tube combined with supplied voltage regulator. When needed on ENI units we make new zener strings (voltage regulator) with a stabilizer mod. We then adjust current flow to the gauge needle using several known check sources (gamma and beta). Calibrations were checked against $10k hospital machines and were found to be 100% accurate.
