The QSP Extra Long Pipet Filter Tips are a high-quality product that comes in a unit of 1632 tips, with each tip having a 200uL capacity. These tips come in eight 204 tip racks and have a product number of F110-NXL-R204S-200. Additionally, they are pre-sterilized and certified to be free of RNAse, DNase, and Pyrogen. Each rack holds 204 tips arranged in a 12 x 17 configuration. Designed to prevent airborne contaminants from coming in contact with the barrel of the pipette, these extra-long tips also prevent liquid bypass, even in the case of accidental over-pipetting. They ensure complete uncontaminated sample retrieval and contain a small micron filter to cover any liquid bypass. The filters are not coated with any sealing agents that can preclude sample recovery and cause contamination. These pipet tips are manufactured using premium grade metal-free polypropylene and use patented technology under US Patent 5,364,595 that involves the insertion of a small micron filter into a pipet tip.
