This was used in Energy Northwest standards laboratory in Richland Washington. It has a calibration sticker on the sound level meter as well as the permissible sound calibrator. The permissible sound calibrator was calibrated on may 8 2008. The sound level meter was also calibrated on May 8 2008. On both there is a sticker from the laboratory with the dates written in pen and initialed by the person who calibrated the instruments. You can see in photos 3 and 4 the battery level on the sound calibrator jumps to full when it is turned on. Also on the sound level meter in phot #10 I am holding down the battery test button. This shows the meter has a full battery. There is a microphone attachment that is included in this lot you can see it in the photos it is sitting in the case next to the sound meter. On both the microphone and the top attachment to the sound meter there are 3 screw holes for precision screws. One is missing on both. I do not know why both pieces are missing one precision screw. It does not seem to affect the integrity of the machine at all. The sound level meter takes two 9 volt batteries in the back. Along with this auction I will be including a two pack of 9 volt batteries that are brand new. The case that it comes in does close, although it does not latch. The handle is broken.
