This rare and vintage 50mm Golden Mean padlock is a very awesome find!  The patent on this lock design was filed in 1978!  This lock comes in the Original Box and was Never Used!  If this style looks familiar, its because this Lock is the original design for the MAXIS lock! >This lock pre-dates the MAXIS company- and you can even see on the original keys that these are stamped "Golden Mean".  Check out the Very cool and Unique Keys!  You can see the key is rounded and has 4 cuts in the center channel of the key which interact with the pins.  This Lock has a nice solid build and weighs in at around 415 grams.
