This is a neat and extremely small cold cathode (field emission) X-ray emitting tube. It is only 2 inches long and about 3/8 inch diameter. It has a lead beam forming shield that covers about half the tube and a window that is just under 1/4 inch. I powered up the tube with about 25KV and it makes my neutron RAE tester go crazy. It seems like it would be a good physics class demonstration item. If you need this, here is your chance. This item is pretty hard to find I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week.
