You are NOT bidding on an MVME167PA-36SE board, this is an MVME167-034B being sold as an alternative solution. MVME167-034B can be used in place of the newer MVME167P & MVME167PA series boards in most applications and we can provide engineering to integrate it in your system. These are also the latest rev Motorola manufactured before discontinuing this series. They use a Snap-Hat battery rather than the traditional NVRAM chip found on older units. You will never need to replace an encapsulated NVRAM chip again. Only an easily available 2 dollar battery. They also come with solid aluminum ejector handles which cannot easily be broken, rather than plastic ones. All units will ship after a full factory self test, functional testing of all physical interfaces (network, SCSI, serial) and verification of configuration parameters and with a brand new battery installed. A battery backup option for the on-board SRAM is also available. (Additional 128KB SRAM on the memory bus, not to be confused with the NVRAM) If you have an application which requires this, these boards can be shipped with this option on a custom basis for your order. We can also migrate firmware from other 167 series boards to run on these boards, and can ship units with your application firmware and settings pre-installed.
