Our Biomedical Engineering Department opened it up, cleaned it, lubricated it, reassembled it, tested and calibrated it. It now meets all the performance criteria specified by its manufacturer. This cryostat cools down quickly and quietly, the microtome operates smoothly at low temperature and the glass window warms up and stays condensation free. Three specimen holders are included and the rail mounted specimen press is also included. This cryostat is ready to be put to good use in your lab.
